I'M WENDI TOOTH

Hello and thank you for visiting my website! I am a mom of 3, and a US ARMY Veteran. 

My entire childhood revolved around drawing portraits. My high school years were filled with drawing and one year of Varsity soccer. I joined the military 4 days after high school and spent 3 years on a traveling competing Culinary Arts Team for the United States Army. Much to my surprise, I excelled and thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking. For the next 20+ years I found myself in and out of many types of food-oriented jobs. 

Fast forward to 2016. I am pregnant with my third daughter. I was challenged by my children to draw a cheetah because they were in fact, cheetahs themselves, and I've been painting ever since. I have spent the last few years capturing and bringing to life my customers family members and loved ones. I am a full-time artist and a food service worker at a high school. My style ranges from classical realism to simple cartoon illustrations. The name of my business, Toothsbrush was chosen as a fun play on words, using my last name and my paintbrush. Being a Foodie, if I am not Momming or painting, I am in the kitchen learning and preparing vegan dishes. I operate as a business and as the sole proprietor. My social media outlets of choice are TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. 

I have studied under my mentor, Master Artist Alfredo Rodriguez, a world-renowned southwestern artist.
